Absolutely loved Big J Express!! Seriously, if you are reading reviews to consider hiring for your move, stop right now and book immediately. Big J made our move incredibly smooth from start to finish. They showed up right on time with a large, professional crew that was ready to go immediately. What I appreciated most was how positive and respectful every single team member was throughout the day. It started with Josh, supporting everyone, catching details, working efficiently, communicating clearly, and made what could have been a stressful day feel easy and organized. I hope to not move again, but if I do, this company will the only call we will make. We hired Big J Express Movers, LLC for our long distance move from Lake Saint Louis, MO to Centralia, IL. It was a frigid December morning with ice on the driveway. Never heard a complaint. Rarely anymore do I see teamwork like these folks displayed. They made the move look easy. Josh and his crew are amazing movers. They treated our furniture like it was their own. They moved and reassembled all furniture working with me every step to be sure things were in the right place. Our home is on a construction site, newly built with limited access but Josh and his team managed to get everything safely in its place. What a true blessing they were to us. I was assisting an elderly family member with both a local and long distance move and contacted Big J for the service. While I expected a quote and a few general questions answered, I was pleasantly surprised at how each and every one of my detailed questions/concerns were answered, whether via text, email or phone. Josh was very attentive and professional about my concerns and even offered FaceTime for my family member so he could conveniently and appropriately access how much moving help she would need and the pricing for the move. Moving is super stressful and I have done in my state several times and the last time was HORRID. So horrid to the point where I have NO future plans for moving ever again; however, if Big J was in my state, perhaps I would consider moving again- that's just how much I would trust this company with my move. ~ ChakaKhanian

I couldn’t be more impressed with BigJExpress Moving and Logistics. Josh and his crew did an incredible job moving me from Wentzville to Lake St. Louis. They handled everything with care and efficiency including a heavyweight gym equipment setup and a hot tub which most movers won’t even touch. Their professionalism, communication, and attention to detail were top notch. The entire move went smoothly, and they made what could have been a stressful day feel effortless. BigJExpress Moving is without a doubt the best moving experience we have had. The customer service is unmatched and they are honest and transparent through the whole process. From initial contact the to final delivery and payment nothing but exceptional service and professionalism. They moved large bedroom furniture with ease and even navigated tough corners and stairs with an upright player piano and not one scratch or dent anywhere. They carefully wrapped and secured everything. If you need to move a few pieces or a whole house call them!! You will not be disappointed! My experience with BigJ was fantastic! Definitely go the small business route for your move- they are thoughtful, attentive, and 1000000000% accountable and careful with your belongings as if they were their own. My sister found this amazing company and got everything scheduled for my mom's move from Lake St. Louis into Wentzville. These guys loaded up a semi-truck worth of belongings and unloaded them at our new home in less than 3 hours. The pricing is extremely reasonable, there is full transparent with the process and billing details. I have worked with 3 different moving companies in the last 7 years and the first two, I would not call back to do anything. Working with BigJExpress was amazing. From day 1, Josh was helpful in recommending things to make my move easier. There were two days that I hired him to help and both days were a breeze. They were professional from the get, making sure my stuff was protected and safe. The final day was the big move and they kept all my furniture wrapped up right and secure in the truck. Was desperately looking for someone to move a used floral cooler I purchased for my small business. Called a ton of places and they either weren’t interested in single item moves or wanted to charge me more the half the unit price to move it. My last attempt I got Josh and he was able to move it a few days later and for a very fair price. Day of, he was right on time at the sellers house and wrapped up the unit. Communicated with me along the route and was just sweet and helpful as could be when he arrived and set it up. I asked him for some cards to recommend him. Just a great experience all around. Wound up hiring this company because the movers I had originally planned on using weren't able to make the date, so they referred me to Big J. And I was very happy with the results. Jeremy, the crew chief, was great. Two things were obvious right away - he cared about what he and his crew were doing, and he cared about his crew. The overall experience couldn't have been better. They were very careful with my belongings, and their prices were very reasonable. The day they moved me was miserably hot and humid and the crew did not slack. They were professional the whole way and they didn't complain. I will recommend them to anyone needing moving services. ~ Mike B

So glad we found Josh and his company! I’m out of state trying to orchestrate my parents move from St. Louis to Oregon. I rented a POD and helped them box most of their belongings but couldn’t be there for the load up. My elderly parents were stressed about it all fitting and the lifting. I hired Big J’s to load and secure the items for transport. Above and beyond, they agreed to supply and buy ahead of time the rope for box tie downs and added the nominal fee to our invoice. Communication was on spot, price was fair and they put my parents mind at ease as well as mine! Can’t thank them enough! They followed through on their word from beginning to end. 🤩 ~ Maureen L

I hired BigJExpress to move a large 500lb wood working machine from one basement shop to another. They were fast to respond, easy to discuss logistics and strategize managing getting the item safely up and down sloped terrain without damaging landscaping or patios, and best of all they got it done in around an hour including transportation from the pickup site in St. Peters to the delivery destination in Wentzville. Their crew were professional and focused and made the job look easy. I should have hired them to move my other machines and will definitely call them next time I need to move something! ~ Nick F

Called around to different companies this morning looking for someone to move a hot tub in the next week and this was the first call I was not scoffed at. Though they unfortunately were not able to help me move in the timeframe, they were incredibly friendly, helpful, and even went as far as to give personal recommendations in the area to help- One of those recommendations was someone I had not found online that WAS available! Hands down the best! I will never use anyone other than BigJExpress! Outstanding Communication! Scheduling was incredibly accommodating for what worked best for me despite their busy schedule. I was nervous about someone, other than me, handling what I hold dear to my heart. So, finding someone else who would care for that as much as I do, as you can imagine, is stressful. Until I met Josh. He showed honorable compassion as I was experiencing a delicate time. Everything was treated with outstanding care, better than I could ever hope for. We’ve hired BigJ moving several times over the years. This time it was to move my parents into their new residence and boy do they have a lot of stuff. The guys and gal of BigJ were great to work with and moved everything with care and no complaint as again my parents have A LOT of random stuff. We would definitely recommend them as again we’ve used them about 4 times now within our family. Josh is great to work with and will make sure he has the right crew for your job. This is a wonderful moving company!! I had to move on short notice. I called them on a Friday afternoon, Josh called me back right away and was able to work me into his schedule the next morning! They are very professional, they moved my things into my storage unit and they got it done in no time. I used them a month later to bring my things to my new apartment, on the 3rd floor, they were wonderful bringing up heavy items, they are careful and quick! Joshua and his team is absolutely amazing. I 100% recommended them. They first did our moving and they were so knowledgeable about what to do and how to keep our furniture safe. Very organized, on time and working hard and fast. Today they moved a big dining set and again, amazing experience. They were very prepared, they moved it so quickly and kept it very well protected. DELIVERED!!!! I have moved 6 times in the past 11 years (bigger homes) and BigJExpress was amazing.. I will hire Big J for any moving-type of serivce they offer moving forward. I will also be recommending them to all of my friends and family. Packed up the entire house (I didn't pack one item) and delivered it on time, set up in the proper place. Josh was very professional and easy to work with. He followed through on everything he promised up front from timing to pricing and then some, including assembling a complex Japanese bedframe for me (or I'd still be sleeping on the floor.) He kept me up to date on timing of arrival and his team was fast while still being careful with my belongings. Josh was with his team to oversee and help and was wonderful to work with. I reached out to find a moving company as quick as Possible with the situation that my son and I are facing, Josh had no available moving staff as he was fully booked a week out, But from the kindness of his heart, he reached out to some of the other moving companies he is friends with and helped me find another amazing kind company to help me! This is a rave because the move I required was on the more difficult end of the spectrum--not a big move, but challenging. Big J went above and beyond. I had to move and store beloved family furniture, china, porcelain sculptures, expensive antiques, several dozen fragile Waterford and antebellum leaded crystal/glass glasses goblets and serving dishes, delicate Italian enameled metal chandeliers, etc. I needed a meticulously careful mover and was lucky to have hired BigJ. It's a family-run business. Josh heads up a capable, efficient moving crew. His mother can be hired to pack beforehand. I hired both. Josh came by the house to see everything and discuss what was needed for the move. His willingness to come by on a Saturday(!) made the entire process flawless, fast and efficient, with every item wrapped, every china box well-packed and protected. Most important, I am 100% confident that my family's legacy will arrive safe and sound when I'm ready to have them shipped to me a 1000 miles away. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. ~ Google U

BigJExpress is awesome! We would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for movers. They quoted us a fair price, were professional and responsive to all of our questions. We moved out of state and they were fantastic. They were knowledgeable on how we should pack and how to keep all of our things safe. They did a great job getting all of our belongings to our new home timely and in perfect condition. During the move they were organized and worked quickly. Josh was professional, thorough and friendly. I paid for packing, and moving. The prices have gone up remarkably in 5 years, anecdotally. The teams were fun to be around, and worked efficiently together. On move day, everything was in the truck in <3 hours, meaning simply that the man in the truck and the 3 in the building were working together smoothly.
